1967 - 1968 Camaro Series

On September 12, 1966, a legend was born. On that day, the Chevrolet Motor Division unveiled a completely new car, the Camaro. Already destined for serious contention in the "pony car" wars, the Camaro would quickly evolve into much, much more.

The 1967-68 Chevrolet Camaro was chosen as our second tooling project. The first car out of these molds was the Bolero Red '67 Z-28, which debuted in January of 2000. We currently offer a series of street and drag versions of the Exact Detail 1967-68 Camaro replicas. The street versions have been well accepted in the collectors' market and now the drag versions have become equally popular. There are many more Camaro releases to follow. Just like our Shelby series, each model will be unique with different hoods, bumpers, grilles, wheels, and tires. One of our specialties at Lane Automotive is the distribution of high performance after market car parts and accessories. Since we stock many drag and circle track parts, we are able to offer historically accurate models based on existing parts located in our warehouse. One of our first Camaro drag replicas was the 1967 "Grumpy's Toy" Super Stocker. From the Lakewood traction bars to the Cragar Wheels to the Hooker Headers each of the parts used to build our models was scaled from the real thing. Even the drag slick dimensions such as inside and outside diameter, height, tire width, tread width, and contour of the side wall bulge, were from a real drag slick in our warehouse.
